ROOTING A SENSE OF SERENITY IN AN AUTOMOBILE IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND FREEING CONCEPT. FOR THOSE THAT FIND JOY IN WRENCHING AND FOR THOSE THAT FIND IT IN DRIVING, WE WANT TO ASSIST IN REACHING THAT POINT OF BLISS.
the owner is a 7 year air force veteran that spent most of his time working on the f-15c/d/e models in north carolina and japan. POST MILITARY, he obtained AN a&p license and through a twist of fate, started the shop instead of pursuing a continued career in aircraft MAINTENANCE.
early 2019 the shop was started from something that was sort of ALREADY in place. the transfer of ownership brought with it 4 in work projects that needed to be restarted from scratch. This was the introduction of full detail automotive.
our work is done with a different level of attention and care. this is where the "detail" in the name comes from. we pay attention to and consider every detail. the "full detail" and scope of the car is considered. this practice is most obvious with our full on builds.
we treat maintenance here just THE same as in the aircraft world: document everything. we photograph and/or video everything we do. this catalog IS SHARED with our customers so it can be referenced long after the job is completed.
accountability is all too important to us. we marry every job that leaves our shop until someone else touches it. should we ever make a mistake or come up short, we hold ourselves accountable to correct the situation.
the owners aircraft maintenace background allows us an advantage for superior service. we operate on a very strict schedule. we don't accept work JUST to accept work, and your car won't sit here just to sit.
just as important as the work itself, communication is a top priorIty. you will always know what the status of your car. "checking in for an update" is not something you'll ever need to do.
our presence AND REPUTATION in the community as a small business IS IMPORTANT TO US. the enthusiasts community is what keeps shops like us open and thriving. through hosting meets we attempt to give back to those that support us. whether it be through business or just sharing a post, any kind of support is appreciated.
